Don't Drink & Drive - Stay Alive
Tragic accident this weekend here where I live involving 3 teens on the football team of the high school where Aubrey will go some day. The two passengers were ejected from the vehicle... one died. The driver and the other passenger are in critical condition... one with major head trauma and the other facing a double leg amuptation.
According to reports, the kids were driving about 3:20 a.m. Saturday when the driver lost control of the pickup, causing it to flip. Investigators said the pickup skidded about 744 feet from where the vehicle flipped to where it came to rest on the median. It was unclear whether speeding was a factor, officials said. They haven't said yet if it's drunk driving, but there were beer cans everywhere after the accident. The driver was 18, the passenger killed was 17 and the other passenger was 16. Just terrible.
