I remember when I had Chardonnay declawed and fixed. I wanted to cry when I picked her up from the vet. I didn't let her stay the night there, I picked her up the same day. She was only 12 weeks old. When I picked her up she was still on drugs and had cast things on her feet. I had to be so careful with her because of her feet and because she had stitches in her tummy. when we got home, my ex-husband had fixed a bed for her so we put her in it. She was so drunk on the drugs she couldn't stand up, she'd just fall over sideways. I cried and cried. It broke my heart. I got over it and so did she. She still tries to sharpen her claws, even though they're not there. And getting her fixed did NOT calm her down. She was still (and even 10 years later) very playful and honory! Oh and I saw the new HP movie and cried too! It was very good!
