Cloud Nine

I am still on cloud nine and can't believe Carl actually proposed yesterday. I spent most of the time yesterday thinking I was still asleep and that I would wake up any minute to find that I've been dreaming. I still feel that way. Anyone who knows me knows how terribly happy this makes me right now. Carl is my match. He knows me so well and he couldn't have done better picking out my ring or surprising me the way he did. I can't stop staring at it...watching how the light catches all the beautiful diamonds and thinking that Carl is my light and to him I'm a jewel. He makes me shine so brightly. I don't think I've ever been happier.
